  • WTB Fish Bags

Anyone know of an LFS or another place that sells them? I know I can order them online, but I procrastinated and now I won't have time before the auction to receive them.

    Thanks for any help!

I'm sure any of the LFS will sell some to you.

What side of town you live in & what size bags are you in need of.
I live on the East side & can let you have some if you dont mind coming & getting them.

Mzungu, I have some you can have.  You know where I live if it's more convenient than Walter's.

Wow, thanks both of you!      Just looked on the map, I'm around the galleria so I think szidlon would be closest. I'll PM you, szidlon.

          Thanks again for the help!

Globel Fish and Pets on 8880 Bellaire near S. Gessner always has boxes full of different sizes at very good prices.

If you dont have any oxygen to use, you can always use the air from you air pump. But for the fish in a bag with just air is not the best ideal.

What size do you need? I have many sizes I was going to sell at the auction. I have them from 4x12 up to 12x24 and they are all 2mil. Let me know, I will be home all day tomorrow and saturday.

Wow, again, thanks everyone! I am picking some up tomorrow from Szidlon, but all that info's great to know for the future.

I don't have oxygen, but I'll use an air pump.

You don't even have to use an air pump, this what I do, even when I ship I do this, put about two gallons of fresh water in a five gallon bucket put prime or whatever you use to dechloranate it, and pour the fresh water from about 4 ft above another five gallon bucket and do that about ten times and your water will have plenty of oxygen. I do that and ship 2-3 day priority mail and have had 100% success! Use about 50% fresh and 50% fish tank water and they will be fine.
