I have some 35 or so of these for sale at $8.50 ea.
The minimum purchase needs to be 12 fish. Tropheus brichardi variants are a bit more agressive than other Tropheus types.
The fish will need for a permanent home a 55 gallon or larger. Ideal setup for 12-20 of these fish would be 75 gallon. If you purchase more than 20 you will need a 6ft tank such as a 125 gallon or larger.
Filtration needs to be 7-10 times turnover rate per hour.
Water changes of 25% weekly or 30-50% bi-weekly.
pH needs to be 7.8 or higher. In Pasadena Water, I have to add some bakingsoda to help keep pH stable above 7.8
The fish are eating New Life Spectrum Cichlid 1mm pellets and Aquarian Tropical Flake Food. They will also eat Dainichi Veggie Delux Baby size pellets.
Adult Pictures
Fry pics. I will post some better ones later.
Please PM me with questions or comments.
Thanks,
Geoff
