What part of the lake are they from?

Pretty sure they aren't Gombi's.

Have they produced fry?.

Very nice looking fish

Not sure on local -

No fry for me yet but they have a dug-out pit under a rock that they (fiercely) protect. I've just got to move this tank (redoing the hardwoods) so all the inhabitants have to go
