This Hood is less than a year old. I upgraded my lights and don't have a need for this anymore. With the $1 a gallon sale going on right now at Petco, this would be a good light set to start with for a 55 gallon tank.
I have a 55 gallon saltwater tank that this has been providing light to and has worked fine. I decided I wanted to start keeping some coral, so it was time for an upgrade.
It powers a 48 ' 40w Eclipse fluorescent bulb.
This would work for either freshwater or live rock with fish only setup.
Brand new with tax it was $100.
I would like to sell it for $65.
