Looking for some freshwater flounder. I once had some that were about 4 inches at the biggest, but I can't find them anymore. Anyone know where I can get some?

Are you asking about Achirus lineatus (they're said to prefer brackish water) or Beaufortia kweichowensis (which is actually a loach)?Vicki

Looking further, it appears the Achirus achirus may be a true freshwater sole. It's hard to find info on them.Vicki

I kept some for a while , found them in a little spot in La Porte called Bay Area Exotic Pets .I think they were like $3. each .{about the size of a quarter} The owner is pretty cool she will order them for you and then call you when they come in . It's a little spot , not much selection but near were I used to work . Her number is 281-470-8959Don't tell fish stories where people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.
