For Sale: Custom dimmable LED light fixture

Hey guys, new to the forum. I am currently a grad student at A&M but moving to Houston in the next month for my job. I am selling off everything from my high tech planted tank as I will be out of the hobby for a while building a house. If you care to read my feedback, I post under the same name at plantedtank.net and aquaticplantcentral.com. Located in NW Houston/Cypress area.


I have for sale a custom dimmable LED light fixture I built last summer. It has 12 cool white CREE XP-G LEDs with 40 degree optics. It is 28" long, and worked great suspended 10" above a 30" tank. I think it would also work well over a 36" tank if suspended 12" or so. Since it is dimmable, anything between super low light and super high light is possible. Easily painted if you don't like the look of bare aluminum. $225. Also willing to trade for a rimless tank.

Hey yeah, shoot me a message. I start my job June 4th, but my wife and I have been traveling down there every weekend as we are in the process of building a house in Magnolia. In the meantime we are staying at my parents in Cypress for the next few months.
