For Sale: 17 Petrochromis trewavasae

It pains me to do so, but I will be selling my 17 Petrochromis trewavasae. They are 1-2inches in size. Most are actually 1.5-2 inches roughly. They are eating well Haikari Gold, PE mysis, and Cyclopeeze. I'll post pics later, but you can also look at my most recent thread for typical fish pics. I'm asking $350 for the whole group. I will also throw in a bag of Haikari Gold- which is their staple. The price is fixed, as I'm already taking a big loss on them. Please only consider buying if you know you can provide them with with a large enough tank. I will sell only as a whole group.

Me too. I just am not gonna be able to eventually get a large enough tank. I'm selling them before I get too attached. I honestly don't know how fast they will grow.

What's the ratio on these fish, males, females? Males have the gold dot on the lower anal fin if you didn't know that? After you know this what's the absolute lowest you will go on these and lastly where or who did you get them from?

Ratio- Hard to say they are young. There are about 5-6 that may be males (5 have definite egg spots) out of 17.
Price- I am taking a big loss on these guys.
Where I bought them- Alex at Ultimate Fish in NW side of town. They re young so likely pond bred/raised lake side.

What size tank are they in now?

They are in a 4 ft 75 gallon. They are ok for now. I know they'll need at least a 6ft 120+ gallon tank. The whole reason I'm selling them is my wife changed her mind about allowing for a larger tank. They will be fine for now but I don't want to get too attached to something I will not be able to keep properly in the next several months. It's my fault I knew better. I should have gotten the proper size tank first, then the fish.

Oh ok, all I have for them at the moment is a 55g with about 30 other demasoni lol. I'd eventually get a 125+ for them but I don't want to be in the same position your in now later lol. You interested in a breeding demasoni colony? I'm kidding. Glwts
