    Will build Wood Stands & Canopys

    My son has helped me build my stands & canopys in the past and now he needs to make the payment on his motorcycle so he's willing to work cheap.
    I have a tablesaw, router, drills (no lathe) but all the other toys needed and I will help with the plans and material list.  Delivery or pickup available.
    If you're interested, send me a PM with dimensions and desires, doors, stain/paint, built in lights and other things and He'll get back to you with a price.

    I think Fishlady is looking for a stand for her 135. I ahve been working on a price but trying to figure the time out.   Look in this same section for the post from her

      How much are you charging? Like for standard size tanks just the stand ie: 10g, 20g etc let me know thanks....

            need basic canopy with doors on the front with no paint - 72.5"Lx24.5"Wx10"H

                The 75g Stand is pine 2x4 & 2x6 framing w/ 1/2" marine plywood panels.  
                It has a built in 4' dual flourescent shop light in the bottom, behind the 8" access door and room for 2 - 15g tanks
                The canopy is "Ash" plywood & has 2 doors on top (front) with a built in 3' dual MV shop light set back behind the doors.  
                It has a light switch built into the canopy but no vent fans (the back is open)
                The finish is 2 coats of dark walnut with a Varathane top coat.

                We also built one for my 140g, The canopy was 8" and the stand was 36" tall and had 3 sections with 3 drawers on the right & left side and
                double doors front & rear for the center section. The back was enclosed because it was a room divider.
                Unfortunately I never took a picture of that stand just my 30" giant gourami "Harvy" who lived in the tank.

                    Im looking for any of these sizes 10,20,29 standard pine wooden stand w/one door, no paint or shelves etc, kinda like the standard black stands you see at fish gallery very basic expect not painted. It looks something like this.... the stand only very basic pine stand, back is open, im curious on your prices

                      Construction grade, Cabinet grade  or Marine plywood ?  
                      Will you provide the hinges & knobs or shall I pick them ?  
                      Do you want the back open or cutouts per your dimensions ?
                      Do you want a plain box or have you selected the trim you want ?
                      Do you want delivery or will you pickup ?
                      You can leave it all up to me & I will get you the lowest price I can or you can pick any goodies you want but it will cost a little more.

                        I will have my son look at them and see if he can beat their "mass produced" prices.  
                        I know the quality will be better.

                          No, I wouldn't want delivery at least not at moment.... I know off the top of my head that the 10g stand at fish gallery like the one in the picture is between 70-80 dollars

                            I think if he can't beat those prices he better find another way to pay for his Bike.
                            But I'll help him work up a good estimate and see if we can get you a quanity discount.
