I did give Raul a 20L that had hamsers in it, that I found by the Dumpster at my apartment complex.

Aquarium World is a complete waist of time, Geoff. Unless you would like to donate to their cause.

ok it doesnt need to get into a shop bash here, the fact is that all the stores have treated someone badly at some point in time (whether the store thinks so or not someone probably has percieved it that way), hech even Mike had complaints on his birds even though he was trying to nurse them back to health. (and i agree with his effort) but the other fact is that they all (yes all ) have some great deals at one point in time. a great example is that aquarium world usually has really high prices (they do) but one day they had some badis badis at really cheap prices (turns out they were wild caught and dying fast) but they did have a good deal, i found cheap fish at a little whole in the wall but that place had really overpriced equipment. so there are bonuses to each store, the fact is some stores get different inventory and fish stock and you best way of gettin a variety is to search all of them .  A hard proposition indeed.

There are no competitive prices at Aquarium World when compared to other LFS's that Geoff has mentioned. Also, my comment was not "bashing" as you put it. It was simply my opinion that I chose to share which is what forums are built upon. Furthermore, my comment was directed to Geoff. You can check my post. Also, I take great pride in using correct grammar, punctuations, etc. I wish others would too. Again, just my opinion.

I have not been inside Aquarium World in over 2 years, and thought, it might be nice to see what's inside.

I completely agree with John, that historically, Aquarium World is the highest price place in town on most items.

Aquatic World used to have a number of Oceanic Tanks, and I have not been inside that store in over a year.  I want to take a look.

HE has a lot of used Equipment in there, that might be worth looking at.

When was the last time you were there?

I was there with my Kid and she was complaining it was too hot in there, so, I had to go and did not get a good chance to look thru the used stuff.

about 3 weeks before I moved.

The used stuff is junk or he not selling it. I have some maxi jets 1200 if you need powerheads.

Inwood has some really good prices on the tank/stand/light combos that I have yet see anyone beat.

Aquarium world is a bit expensive but occasionally they get stuff others don't but I think that is because they are not knowledgeable about what they are ordering and most die within a week or so so if you are lucky you can catch it on the good day.....mostly Reef stuff though. They do have two tropheus that are good sized contained separately in those little cubes they sell the fish in which look like they are wasting away.

Aquatic world has turned out for the worst....The tanks are still there for the most part.
