So how low is that from the top of the water, and how high above is it from the sand?

And because you got a 4x2x2, does it create that undertow?

Interested to know how it acts in a 4 footer. I hooked mine up to my 75g just to see how it was....at 100% it was doing some real good sand kicking around, a little too good.

    • It is about 14" from the top in a 24" tank. It blows the sand that is 1 foot from the opposite side. I may dry to position it either more forward or more backwards, but for now I like ti where it is. I'm also planning to put one in my 3 ft 90 that will house just my petros.

      • On a 3 ft 90g! You actin, lol. I thought I was actin.

I got mine like 6 inches under the water line and right in the middle of the side glass. Guess right where EK had his but maybe a little lower.

I'm getting another for sure. Just don't when when that tree in the backyard is going to produce another vortech mp40w. )

        • It's 3x2x2 - they will luv it

Only reason I didnt want it at the current water line was due to water changes. I like to have a pump going at all times just in case something happens, and this is an awesome solution for that as well.

No comment on the tree shakin'.

+1, 100% They will think it's the lake with all that flow. Breaking all the laws by keeping petros in a 3x2....I like the way that sounds.

Yeah, I was doing the same thing with my modded tunze. When I did a water change I would lower the pump to keep water moving. Plus I do 80% water change via carbon bottle.

But these vortechs are not readily movable. Just I'll just leave the 2260 on and just turn it down really low.

No comment on the tree shakin'.

I got guns so I'm be watching out for Mike coming up from Corpus tryin to get my fruits.

                      • I still got the blue background on it. I should really change it to black.

I'll take pictures of the two mp40's and post them soon. I still need to learn how to do the videos.

To bad the vortech tree is done for the year. Only produced two this season. )

                          • I would not change the background to black on lufubu. The purple and red on them did not pop that much for me back when my tanks were black.
