Hahahaha nooooo, I'm not mean! I was just messin' around. Hehe. Most people assume I'm a boy cuz not many girls are that into fish-keeping and stuff. I'm used to it, and Vicki probably is too!
Yeah, I've had a lot of people think I'm a guy even when I post my name. It doesn't bother me. Although, this was a brain misfire because I knew Bee is a girl. I'm going to blame it on being sick. I think I have the flu (cough, sneeze, sniffle). Ugh!
I hope your visit with your parents is going well. How's the fish doing? Are your parents enjoying having the tank all spiffed up again?

Thanks Vicki! The visit with the folks was great! I didn't want to come back, but I've been back since Monday night and worked Tuesday night, and now I'm finishing up stuff on the 20. They did like the fish, especially the fancytail guppies. They wanted more blue in the tank so I got blue ones for them. My favorite in the tank is now a PINK platy with black trim on her tail... she is absolutely stunning and very healthy. Hopefully everyone does well by the time I go home again in 2-3 months. :)
Sounds like your parents are enjoying a fun community tank! Fancytail guppies are a great choice for a tank like that. They're always active and very pretty without being overly demanding. Next time you go, add a bunch of females and your parents can enjoy an X rated tank with lots of fry!

Oh Vicki... that tank has been X-rated for YEARS! We had angelfish spawning in there multiple times... our cories once laid eggs but those didn't hatch... we had platy fry, guppy fry, molly fry... and there's even a platy in there that's second generation! Haha! It's a highly fertile tank.
