        I need to upgrade the heater in my 200 gallon , What would be my best bet ? Thanks in advance.

          I have a 75w on my 30g but the house never fluctuates much and I threw this tank together the cheapest I could.

            Ah yes! Agreed. 300 watt heaters on 15 gallon tanks would probably not be a good idea.

                In the larger tanks I prefer going with the titanium heaters with remote temp dial. or splitting the work load amongst multiple heaters.

                      Imo easier than hassling with a canister.

                      Buying a commercially available one is really straight forward. Hands down the best filtration you could have on a tank.

                          Pro-clear has been great to me but anything similar works, that's the great thing about them, they all are pretty similar its just what you use for the return pump.

                          For your 200g along with the FX5 I would go with the largest PC or whatever you can fit under the tank.
