      I have a stupid sink with a stupid fancy faucet that I can't hook the python up to ;(

      I guess I will go back to using the exterior faucet when the weather gets warmer, but for now its too cold and I have to add it using a pond pump once it's the right temperature.

      Good to know I can just add it straight from the hose this spring, though!

        for temperature I use the touch judge system.... feel the water... feel the hose adjust the faucet handle to the judged temp... fish dont seem to mind... they usually get in the flow off the end of the hose and hang in it...

            I, for one, do not like the Python. It wastes so much water.

              I don't use the python to remove water either. Not only does it waste water, the python takes FOREVER to remove water.

              I use a 2" hose to remove water. I only use the python to add water.

              2" hose drains almost 10 times faster.
              I ate my fish that died.

                I use the python/aqueon. To cut down on the mess, I place a large bowl or container in the sink to catch the water. Once the bowl fills up, the splashing stops and the water overflows. Works great. I do wish it drained water a little quicker though.

                  Faster=better, thanks!
