You should keep that sump. Just section off an area for ato reservoir. If you get rid of that sump, let me know. I want dibs.

I only run 150gph on my shallow reef, less noise, less evap. Should have more than enough flow from the vortech. Moar pics. Sweet light tree!

Finally got it set-up today. Man I had to much SPS spread out for the scape I wanted. May need to get rid of some.

During the scapping process I accidentally dropped a rock on one of my acans that I got at the event. Not the painted one but one of the other. Plus side was it was closed when I dropped it. We will see how it looks today.

Man the drain lines on this tank are making a loud sucking noise. I cant figure out how to get it to stop. Found out how to get it to stop, I need to slow the flow down. The original owner had the same problem but when he got a 500GPH pump it stopped making the noise. So I need to sell my RIO and get a smaller one.

Go with an eheim 1250, i had the same problem with a mag5 and a 600gph overflow in my 58g tank. After the wife slap my head for the noise, I changed to a 1250 and now the noise gone.

should be alright. Hook it up with a frag of that painted stuff when you get a chance. Too pimp.

I run a eheim 1048 on my shallow reef. But i would get a mag 3 like miggy said. even then... i would prob put a ball valve on it.

Updated pics. Two things to note. Yes my camera sucks its a P&S, also my bulbs come out more like a 14K than a 20K but that will be corrected with Trungs ATI I will be throwing on this thing.
