For Sale: 300 gallon acrylic tank - complete setup

    For those of you been to my apartment..this is my plan.

    Move the 115 gallon, into the fish room.

    Then move the 150 where the 115 was and well...I have to get rid of my fancy 13" TV...

    Then the 300 goes over the balacony rail and thru the side door and who-la the tank goes where the stero that I gave to Raul's son used to be then was replaced by a 150 gallon, then now will be the 300 gallon.

    I need to get a life...

              Well, I went and picked up the 210 today, I really didn't want to put that kind of money on my credit card. But I could not pass up this deal. I cleaned it up tonight and I kid you not, it looks like show room condition. There is only one flaw I have found with the tank at this point, on the back on the inside of the tank, there is a good scratch on it, but other than that it is clean.

              The tank sits in the dinning room at this point, when it's in place in the living room, I'll get some pics of it.

                That sounds great, Steve.

                Geoff and I spent all day tearing down a 300 and setting up a 300. It looks great. Once it clears up, I'll post some pics. :)

                  its acrylic, that thing cant weigh over 300lbs.  2 or 3 people should be able to handle that pretty easy.

                    weight is not a problem w/ an acrylic that size but reaching inside & up & down the step stool is tough.   LOL  labor of love for sure.    congrats on the tank.  V

                            My comment had nothing to do with judgment of character Fishlady...... it was directed towards having his friends moving tanks back and forth a non-first floor apt...especially since this 300g had to go through the patio door which would make it a feat for a non-first floor apt.


                            If I was free that day I would have came by to help....to look at all the trophs while I was there would have been pretty rewarding itself.

                              I thought i was going to die moving a thick 75g down 4 flights of stairs. Then quite a few pounds of holey rock and gravel. Apartments above the ground floor suck!

                                oh pooshah.....it's not that bad......hell if i can move a 135 all by myself from my truck to the front porch before help arrived...then i don't think having 2-3 people on an acrylic could be all that bad....it's not that far from the parking lot to the space he has for it.....

                                but nevertheless.....

                                as someone once told me...it's not what you say ...but how you say it......
