Your right, this is a buy sale section.  My advice was not ask for and should not have been given.  I don't post very often, and now I know why.

Re: WTB: MOBA, MPIMBWE, AND ZAIRE BLUE'S

i have 2 mpimbwe for sale, but they cant live in anything smaller than 6 footer.

Delok can vouch for the size, they are monsters.

one 10 inch, one 8 inch-give or take.

Holiday sale if you get it while the wife is out of town, 125.

(shhh just dont tell her that)
oh that........ thats just my 300 gallon fish tank, nothing fancy.

          twofronts

you say a 6 footer but what about a 5 footer 140???   I have had very good luck keeping them in tanks smaller that a 6 footer.   what about a 4 footer by 36 wide????

Take your time. Do some serious research and then make a final desc.  on what you like and want.   You will spend way less money in the long run and short.   There are lots of fronts out there but dont be to quick to run and buy them up.  If you are like me, you want the healthiest colony possible.   You will see who keeps what and how they keep them.  If you are looking for mobas...then RonR is one of the top fishkeepers in the nation for Mobas.  He has been doing it for a long time and can provide lots of info and is a wealth of knowledge.

Just be patient and do lots of research
There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.

In M/O the wider the tank the better.  A tank that is say 36" wide and only 48" long is better than a tank that is 60" long and just 24" wide.  Frontosa tend to stay in the middle or bottom of the tank.  I know this is a buy/sale forum, but this thread has  expanded.  The information be given here might help the person looking for Frontosa make a more informed tank purchase.

Re: WTB: MOBA, MPIMBWE, AND ZAIRE BLUE'S

Frontorex, I have 25 F1 juvies (over 2"+) that I just posted on craigslist this week.  They are babies from my wc black moba momma.  In the past I've received several requests for larger than the 1" fry I usually sell so I decided to grow them out some (and I like to keep them longer and release them in the 180g with the big boys and girls!!!! LOL).

I also have about 40+ F1 fry hitting the 1" mark from 2 different wc moba mommas.  About 20 of them are from my wc black moba momma.

One of my wc moba mommas is holding a mouthful of eggs right now and will hit day 10 on Christmas so I'll be stripping her this week and putting those little babies in the tumbler.  :) :) :)

PM me for prices if you're interested.  I will most likely be advertising the rest of the fry in about a week or so on this site and several others.  I may even start offering further discounts on F1 moba fry since the economy is kicking us all and this hobby is a luxury for most of us.  I'm still getting a pretty good flow of customers, but I know buying fish is taking a larger portion of their family funds than in the past. :(

Txfatcat, thanks for the kudos.  I've been keeping mobas for over 4 years now (fronts since 1988) and have been very fortunate to have the great stock I have and have learned alot from others around the U.S. and world that keep these fish.  I get a monthly call from Tyrone at TNT Cichlids where I bought my wc moba colony and have learned alot from him.  I try my best to share my knowledge with others because I know how difficult and frustrating this hobby can seem at times.  I want us all to be successful in this great hobby!!!!!!!!

Peace to all here and have a great and safe holidays and Christmas!!!!!!!!!
