just concentrate on getting the tank stabilized for now. We'll cross the MTS path when the time comes.
But if possible, then yes replacement of substrate helps but you would have to dip all equipment and anything from the old tank to rid yourself of the MTS and possible MTS eggs.700g Mini-Monster tank
